AOMPEB President
Osteopathic
manual practitioner Marcus Martinez (from California, USA) has been
chosen as the new president of the American Osteopathic Manual Practice
Examining Board (AOMPEB), a subsidiary of the American Association of
Osteopathic Manual Practitioners.
Marcus has studied osteopathic manual practice at National Academy of Osteopathy. He has also studied massage therapy and chiropractic (at Life Chiropractic College West and Palmer Chiropractic College West) in California. He has also served as a nuclear machinist in the United States Navy.
All osteopathic manual practitioners must successfully complete the board exams of AOMPEB if they wish to join the American Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners in order to become certified osteopathic manual practitioners (COMP).
